Debra is the managing director and owner
Debra opened the nursery in August 2003, managing hands on, on a day to day basis with the help of the manager Catherine.

What makes me smile? My children both grown up now. Chocolate obviously, my two dogs Zack the chocolate Labrador and Oscar the nutty Dalmatian and since May 2017 my beautiful granddaughter Amelia-Louise.
Catherine is the nursery manager
Catherine has been with the company from the start in 2003, starting off in pre-school and for many years as manager.

What makes me smile? Out of work being mum to Martha and my large family of guinea pigs!
Sarah is a deputy and also baby room supervisor
Sarah has been with the company since 2005, firstly as a student then as an employee from 2007.

What makes me smile? It’s lovely seeing the babies grow and develop and love spending time with friends and family.
Kayleigh is a deputy and the toddler room supervisor
Kayleigh has been with the company since 2011, firstly as an apprentice and now a room leader since 2016.

What makes me smile – I love my job and also love all the countries have visited over the last few years.
Elen is a deputy and is the pre-school supervisor
Elen has been with the company since 2007, leaving us for a short time for family commitments but came back 2014.

What makes me smile? I love seeing a child’s face light up when they learn something new or accomplish something for the first time.
Kim is a deputy and is in charge of the after-school club at our other site and also works throughout the nursery, including relief cook
Kim has been with the company since 2007 firstly as a trainee, then as a qualified member of staff

What makes me smile? - It makes me smile knowing that the work I do with the children has a positive impact on their lives. I love art and being creative and spending time with my friends .
Shannon mainly works in the pre-school unit and has been with the company since 2014, starting first as an apprentice and then as a qualified member of staff.

What makes me smile? - I love my ‘Rotty’ Bella, and I love working with the pre-school children because of all the individual characters and the funny things they say.
Lisa works mainly in toddlers and has been with the company since 2012

What makes me smile? – Working one to one for the first time with a child with specific needs, seeing the child progress makes me happy and in my spare time volunteering for North Clwyd Animal Rescue
Lois is our trainee nursery nurse, she has been with the company since 2015 working in all the units to gain experience and extend her knowledge

Jenny is a deputy and is mainly based in the toddler unit, she has been with the company since August 2004

What makes me smile? – Reading to the children using different voices and accents to make the children happy and enjoy the story
Sophie is our level two apprentice and has been with the company since June 2017 working mainly in the pre-school unit

Jean is our cook and has been with the company since August 2007

Jade is a deputy and has been with the company since June 2013 firstly as an apprentice then as qualified staff, Jade works mainly in toddlers and is relief cook

What makes me smile? – Being able to bring my own child to our setting and seeing him enjoy all the activities and seeing him develop.
Gemma is a deputy and has been with the company since 2007 (after a short break when she tried something new) mainly working in the toddler unit

What makes me smile? – Being mum to my daughter Ava and being back at HCC, a short break away for four months trying something new made me come to realise my heart is in child care.
Becky is a deputy and has been with the company since November 2012 , Becky has been working mainly in pre-school and more recently working in the toddler unit.
